Free Online Large File Sharing – up to 2 GB

Send large files to several people at once for free – using WeTransfer

Online file sharing service that allows you to share large files (up to 2 GB) using only your web-browser and an internet connection. Simply select and upload the desired file, enter your recipient(s) email address, type a brief message (optional) and send to up to 20 people.

Once your file is sent to your recipients, you will receive an email confirmation notifying you that the email was delivered successfully. You will also receive another email each time that one of your recipients successfully downloads your sent file. No more guessing and no need to send follow up emails as the system provides these important notifications automatically.

Each file will remain active and available to download for up to 2 weeks from when the file was originally uploaded to the app server. After the completion of the two weeks, the file is deleted from the server to make room for more file transfers. Although the email with the uploaded file will be deleted from the app server, you and your recipients can always select to download the file and keep on your system before the two week expiration date. Even though you can enter all of your email receipt addresses at once, your recipients will not see the any of the other email addresses. The app automatically sends each email separately.

Files are also sent using an encryption technology service and the app provider promises that any email address entered is never stored in their database or shared. Once your recipient(s) receive your email containing the large file, they can also select to forward the email to others.
